Help!!!

So I'm also in an area where you're not supposed to have roosters but I called my township and they said they didn't care as long as our neighbors don't complain. Roosters have a variety of personalities/dispositions and they come with their own set of rules. If you plan to house them with your hens, remember at least 10 hens per rooster, otherwise you might have to create a bachelor pad. Talk to your neighbors. Offer them eggs. I would try keeping them till somebody tells you they have to go.
Yes, that’s what I did. The neighbors never complained, thankfully.

I like that, but we’re not allowed more than 6 chickens total. The white one is already attempting to crow and one of our neighbors has already noticed. 😢

Sadly rules are rules and there nothing you can do. I am so sorry you have to get rid of them, just make sure they go to good homes. That will make you feel better! You are even allowed to post them for sale on BYC.

Thank you! I’ll make sure they go to good homes where they can live out their days and I can maybe even check in on them.
