Hello everyone! I just recieved a baby chick, but there's something weird on its stomach (I don't know if its a male or a female yet). Can you guys tell me what is this? And what to do? This is my first time ever raising chicken. Thank you!

Looks like the bellybutton. Just put it somewhere warm and safe and don't touch. It will get smaller as it dries out

Looks like it still had a bit to absorb
It wasn’t fully ready to get out yet( close but not fully )
Hope baby is doing okay now

It died today. The baby was weak maybe it was because it got out too early?

Its silkie, I'm not sure how many toes it had on each feet.

Thanks for the info. I have a question. This is my another egg and its 19 days old today. I didn't see any movement inside the egg when i candled it. Is it alive or is it dead?
I'm very new to this and I'm very anxious lol.
