Help!

So went to farm supply and Noticed several (4) baby chicks in a Chick box inside a larger Stock tank. They looked half dead. I asked The girls at counter what’s going on she said they didn’t react well with the vaccine. My husband and I walked a bit and I said hey can I buy the chicks and try to save them, he said yep! I go to counter she gives them to me free we run home. One died on the way home another hours later. the remaining two are not eating bird ringing and we have fed them baby parrot food by syringe water down because they won’t open their beaks. I am not sure what to do at this point about food vitamins wevhaveveverythingbi just wanted to give them a chance. Any help would be apprecaitive!

all four passed at various days times. It was horrible, truly. I hope we did not prolong their suffering, life can be so hard.

Ugh!!! I'm so sorry. I'm so glad that you tried to save them though, rather then dying alone in a store.

I'm very curious what vaccine they're talking about. The stores don't do the vaccinating and I've never heard of chicks having issues from the ones I'm familiar with (unless you do it wrong which isn't really possible with how hatcheries usually vaccinate)

Me too, thought of them thrown in trash is why, we buried them in our blueberry beds. Poor tiny things. thank you for your kind response. My whole family has been crying for days. They are in heaven now and now my forever flock.
