I found my chick hiding in the coop yesterday, and when I picked her up, I realized that she was injured. I’m wondering if she got stuck under some metal siding of our coop. The skin is literally gone from around her neck and hanging under her chin. It’s basically circumferential. I haven’t done anything with the hanging skin.
Last night I did the best I could. I washed with diluted peroxide and covered in polysporin. I brought her up to the garage and put her in the metal trough we have just to separate her.
She’s pitiful!!! Please help!! What can I do for pain or treatment. I don’t want her to suffer. Is this even recoverable?

No more peroxide.
Keep her indoors were flies won't get on her and lay eggs.

Check her over thoroughly for any additional injuries. Under her wings, around her legs, everywhere. Make up a batch of sterile saline and use that for washing the wound. Peroxide damages healthy tissue. Blot dry and coat the wound with triple antibiotic ointment. Make sure it does not contain pain reliever. Do that twice a day. She should heal. Looks like something got hold of her. Don't let other chickens peck the wound, maybe keep her in a dog crate where they can see her but not get to her. You can give her a little sugar water for shock, but no vinegar.
