Help!!!

On my little chick's stomach there is a tiny string dangling. It's not from the vent I know. But anyways I didn't want to tug on it so I got a tissu with water and tried to get it off. After a while I pulled on it lightly, I think it was attached into the chicken. There was a scab like object on it's stomach, what should I do??? Please help!!!

Evidently this is a newly hatched chick. It's the umbilical cord and it will absorb. This is quite common, just leave it alone.

All I can say is Whew, it sounds like something not so serious, according to the above! I was worried and it is not even my chick!
