so i left for the 4th and had some one feeding my chicks for my and they let the watter turn over so they where laying in pop for a day or two and now all my chicks smell so bad

I know they hate watter but can i give them a bath in some warm watter and just a bit of dawn soap. i am guessing that dawn is safe thats what they wash all the oil of of sea birds

what to you think

Its o.k. to bathe them. A mild baby shampoo would be better and Castile soap would be better yet. Dawn dishwashing soap removes grease; that's why they use it on the oil spill animals. I'm sure its fine if you don't have anything else. Just make sure they get dry without getting chilled....

I would think once their environment is clean, they will get themselves cleaned up. Maybe just a wipe with a wet cloth??

washed them to day they are all fine and look way better

wroth the time
