Help!!!!

I don't know what to do. I have a cockerel and a pullet. He mates her ALL the time. He is very aggressive towards me too! I cannot kill him, out of the question. I need a home for him. He is nice to everyone in my family But me. He is gorgeous too! I feel so bad for my pullet! She is getting feather damage now, i feel SO bad

What do i do?!?!

You have 3 options IMO, You could seperate him into his own pen, or find him a new home, or cull!​

If its possible you could get a chicken saddle or...... a few more hens, I know thats not always possible , but when I first started with my chickens I had alot of spare roos that I couldn't bare to part with and they tore my hens up, the ratio was way off, too many roos to to few hens, maybe if he had a few more ladies he wouldn't have the time to harrass your girl all the time. BTW, do you spend much time with your Roo? I have never had a mean Rooster so far and Ive had alot, but I spend alot of time with them if they even look at me with the look like "I dare ya" I grab them up real quick and hold em upside down until they calm down then right side up for about twenty mins or so, seems to keep them in line, so all my roos are very friendly or at least very respectful of me and watch there ps and qs. LOL again good luck with em.

I'm thinking your problem is not enough hens. Theres supposed to be around 8-9 hens

per rooster, right? Get more hens, or get your dear pullet a 'saddle', Like the above

poster said. If he's aggressive towards you, you could chase him around a bit. Let him

know that you will not have any of that. Or post him on craigslist. I must say, theres

a good chance he may become chicken soup if he does that to somone else.

Im thinking ill go with the saddle idea. I am getting more hens soon! i only have 1 roo and 1 hen

(or pullet and cockerel whatev) Im getting them as chicks tho!
