Help!

its ok if the babies bump the unhatched eggs or climb on them while there drying, theres not much you can do. I've been told that it can be of help, it lets the unhatched know its time to come out(same as if you talk to them while in the egg) Congrats & Welcome to BYC

I've noticed that too, the more that hatch, the faster the others hatch, I took some out once when there were still eggs in, 2 shrinkwrapped and another two didn't hatch for hours...I decided I will NEVER open it again during hatching

the five that already hatched are out of the incubator now. taking them out and putting in a wet paper towel and hydrometer are the only times i opened the incubator during lockdown
 
can the chicks see the red light from the heat lamp in the brooder???
