you say your taking it out to swim? does that mean out of the brooder or outside? it will get chilled pretty easy at this age so you want to make sure it only swims in water water and is out of drafts.

Yes, As they said. Watch her closely so she does not drown (I've had that happen to a duckling before). Good Luck
