Went out their again and their are 6 baby chicks under her, 100% hatch rate!
They are the cutest lil buttons'
i will definately upload pics shortly, just don't want to distub her again
Got the days wrong again lol i predicted they weren't going to hatch tomorrow night.
one is yellow the other 5 are pure white
^ i think is just wet
ther other 3 ringins are doing well, one looks fully formed can't see through egg and other two are doing well. only problem im not sure when to stop turning because im not sure how old they are. temp is 37.5 and humidity is 65% is that all good?

Oh wow, congrats! 100% hatch rates are wonderful. Well done, hen!
As for the others, I don't know... I did once turn my incubator eggs right up until they hatched. They hatched way too early and caught me out! Didn't do them any harm though.

Have you had your bator at 65% the whole time???? If so that is too high. You want it 40-45%the first 18 days then up it to 70% when you see the first pipped egg. To high a humidity for the whole time will cause chicks to be too big and wont be able to move to pipp out of the shell. Yes you can turn the eggs right up till hatch. That is what Broody hens do in their nests.

Photo of the babies! They couldn't get up so we had to build up a corner alot with hay, and she jumped on it and babies went under her. It completely wind proof and here in Australia its not very cold at the moment.

Hello, The babies are doing great! They are all coming through tan, black and white (mom is white and dad is also white with black/green tail feather. Have no idea where the tan is coming from. Just a quick Q. When am I able to seperate mum and chicks, like when they go to their new home? Whats the earliest time aloud?
