help!

my guinea pig just riped my earing out of my ear! i managed to get the front part out but he swallowed the backing! will he be ok? it was very small but i am worried! help!

What kind of backing was it? Plastic or those metal "crowns"? The metal ones might be a bit sharp, but maybe not enough to cause damage. Call your vet and ask for advice. Maybe giving him more hay to get things moving through would help. You're going to have to keep track of all those zillions of turds now! LOL Hopefully he won't re-eat it. Our guinea pigs have eaten all kinds of worrisome stuff and they've always been okay, so hopefully your guy will be, too...
