I want my ducks to be free range but i don't want hawks to kill them. Would it be better for me too not let them free range in the winter and fall but let them free range in the spring and summer? Would my ducks be able to protect themselves?

That I dont know. but perhaps a bump can get u some help! Someone told me its better to free range in the winter because the leaves are gone and the hawks cant hide as well, but I would think that goes both ways!! Good luck!
