We moved him to the brooder after much discussion. DH and I were both not sure if he'd make it. Gave him another 24 hours in the bator and no change so we moved him to the brooder. This morning he was very wonky, went over a lot and I notice that his little feet curved inward in a soft 'U' shape. (if that makes sense)
By this afternoon we can't pick him out of the crowd! He's running around with this others eating and drinking and stomping on people LOL Another little one hatched this morning and he's behaving almost identically, almost like he's just not developing as fast as the others.
Tentatively, it seems like helping him was the right thing to do. We'll see how he goes.
YAY. sometimes it just takes interaction and exercise. I have 2 from last night still in the bator due to their curly toes. I usiually move them as soon as they dry if I have more eggs to hatch for sanitary reasons. Now I am going to have to figure out how to change the towels.
I think you are absolutely right laseterlass! He was fairly listless along in the incubator but it seems like his brothers and sisters really perked him up
I expect being trampled by tiny feet is a great reason to get up and run away!
