my easter egger was laying normal size large fowl eggs then today she layed a bantam size egg. only easter egger in flock. egg color for both eggs green.

Do not worry. Every once in a while some of the white part of the egg is covered with a shell and the hen lays the tiny egg. My hens have produced these before.

I've had pullet eggs from hens when they started laying again after a molt or broody cycle. I wouldn't worry about it unless the unusual eggs continue.
OK thank you .

I had one last summer that was the size of a marble - too cute, tiny brown one! I also got an enormous 95gm chocolate brown egg from one of my new pullets (I'm pretty sure it was her, she sneaks off to a special place in the barn). I was so sure it was a double yoke that I cracked it to eat it and it had the most enormous yolk I've ever seen! REALLY wish I'd but it in the incubator
