I came home tonight and found all 8 of my 3 mo old chicks and 5 of my old hens dead in the yard. I think lighting killed them but I have never heard of it happaning. Can it ?

My dogs are hidding from me but they have never messed with the chickens. Them and the cat alll hang out together every day?

Help ... could it be avin bird flu?
