Hi East. Good luck on your eggs. I will be thrilled if I get ONE wyandotte hatched. They have been the worst eggs shipment/incubation that I have ever had. Lots of the eggs were broken upon arrival. Most of the eggs were clear. Out of 36 eggs shipped I had 9 make it to lockdown

ETA: I had to cull the baby quail. He couldn't even hold his head up

I candled 47 Call eggs this morning and chunked 15(not fertile), but the rest look great! I can't wait for some ducklings, darn it!
What kind of eggs are you looking at, ady?
Oh, contacted the guy in NY about my Snowies and they had another big snow. He lives right on the Great Lakes so their weather is extreme! Oh well, I want them safe, not fast.

There are a lot of Call eggs on ebay right now, but if you are looking for BQ or SQ, I wouldn't if I were you.
Sorry you had to cull the baby, Sonja. That's never easy.

You know, If I hadn;t gotten my Silver Appleyards, I would have gotten Saxonies. They are sooo pretty especially the hens.

That was the first time I've ever had to cull. I asked God to forgive me before I did it. I feel so dirty. Poor baby. He's not suffering any more though.
