I have a GQF and a Humidaire. No, you'll be sending our pullets to us as day olds-you won't be feeding them at all. Anything you end up with(extra roosters) are just the price you pay for bragging about being able to actually hatch pullets-that's a risky thing to say to folks that can only hatch roosters!

Goodmorning all!
Well mr drake must have gotten taken in the night. I am very sad but i didn't know what else to do with him. He would have faught with my roo del (he's a cocky little thing) and he would have fought with one of my silkies roos ( even more cocky but sweet to me

lol duck your funny! I tend to hatch about 50/50 so far... some hatches i've had more pullets and some its been almost all roos! I've heard could possible determine sex from somewhere. I dont know how that would be possible, but i remember hearing it somewhere. My Maran, Welsummer, GP and well the 1 Crele OEGB are almost all sexable. lol i have a few extra roo's but not as many as i thought i would! lol watch me have all drakes

Quick question for ya'll.
One of the ducklings I hatched is mostly a silver/lavendar/gray color(accurate enough? with a yellow chest and a bit of yellow on the wings. I can't find anything resembling her looking at pictures of baby Calls. Any ideas?
I COULD post a picture, of course...guess I should.
Any guesses without a picture? The gray/silver really has me thrown????
