I tried Brandywine this year because they cam highly recommended from the sister forum of BYC The Easy Garden. They are pink maters I believe. The Mr. Stripeys are yellow and red striped.
I started some Pea plants, Heirloom tomatos, and Orange Watermelon seeds a couple weeks ago and need to get planted in a bigger seed tray soon! They are growing fast!
Ive had mater plants in the groud for a couple of weeks. I got two heirloom Mr Stripey's (they are sooo cool looking) and I got some Brandywines. 6 plants total and I'm still thinking that may not be enough. I can live on tomatoes.
We could have a total of 50 tomatoes at any given time

The Mr.Stripeys get HUGE if you have the right soil and everything! First time we had them the plant broke in half cause one of the tomatoes were half the size of a basketball!

Thats funny. I already have cages around mine but they are not near that tall yet. Of course if I hadn't planted to so deep to improve their roots, they may be that tall lol.
