Well, i lost 2 white ducklings with tiny air cells. I opened them up and there was a ton of fluid still in the eggs and the ducklings didn't look quite right. They were super tiny and had a huge amount of yolk left. They were in the right position though. There are 2 more that I think are in the wrong position.

I think I just revived a dead duckling

. I was trying to find the head and it stopped moving so I figured I had nothing to lose so I quick opened the membrane to get its head out and did chest compressions and after a few minutes it moved. It is gasping for air now. I guess ifit makes it it will be a special duckling.

Sorry about the ducklings, justme.
I talked to a friend of mine this morning that had 4 out of 6 that were malpositioned. She lost 2 of them.

Bad year for hatching Call babies, I'm afraid.

Thank you east. The special duckling didn't make it. It had its bill down by the yolk. I lost another malpositioned white one so I am down to 5 out of 9, only 1 white one left. The snowy is pushing out of the shell but I see a pool of blood under him. I think I need to go on an adult call duck shopping spree.

Everyone is having bad lucks with eggs this year!

Oh and duck went to feed store...... we got 5 bantam chicks and gave them to the broody!

I think they Old English Game Bantam...? One of them is sooooooo small and white and adorable!!!

Oh and they had turkey poults in with the bantam chicks and I told them that that is a BIG NONO! They didnt do anything!

And they thought they were bantam chicks at first!
