Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well.
My husband has had a death in the family so we are all scrambling to get places for them to stay down here.
Also lost my Pencil Call baby today-no idea why, but he was so beautiful.

I also made a stupid mistake the last 2 days-I've picked up eggs from my Call pens, set them on top of each pen to go pick them up and mark them and forgot about them. Went back to get them both days and the crows had eaten every one of them. Just don't have my head in the game these last few days.
I do know that 3 of my Calls(2 Black Bib and the Silver Bib) that are in the outside brooder are all females! Quacking!

That is one positive thing that's going on.
2 Call babies in the brooder kinda in limbo/zombie state right now...we shall see.
I hope all of your hatches/babies/birds are doing well!
Probably busy for the next few days with family coming in and whatnot so not sure how much I'll be on, just wanted to check in with you all.

Just got home and the shipped snowy didn't make it

. I am offically done hatching duck eggs this season.
