I just went and checked on Mrs. Mean Eyed Call duck and her eyelid is still swollen this morning. We've treated with Terramyacin opthalmic antibiotic and tried Baytril-still swollen. Guess I need to run her over to the vet's house and have him look at her today. Poor Queenie.

Could it be Botulism?

No, she hasn't been exposed to anything even remotely dirty-she's the Queen, remember.

We have always had to keep these 2 by themselves due to the fact that they don't want to be around the other ducks and they are fed in a small dish(which is refilled usually 3 times a day with fresh food) because they sling food everywhere. They have no access to anything moldy or anything like that.
It really looks like she has scratched it and it has become infected and everytime we put the ointment in her eye it makes her scratch more(it has peroxide in it and I think it burns
