Well, at the time I had 40 something chicks between the 1st ones he bought me and my order from McMurry. That's right, DH bought me my 1st chicks! He had no idea what he was getting into

Its not as pretty as hubby would have done it but its the way I wanted it... I am happy with it. Only took me an hour! Plus hubby works so much right now he hardly has any time to do anything...

My first chicks were my anniversary present from my husband...and that's how it all began.
ady, I think it's great that you built it yourself. I know what you mean about DHs working so much that they don't have time to build anything for us right now. My new Snowys and Aleutians are probably going to have to deal with some jacked up mess I put together for them until DH can do it nice and pretty.
