Well I just got back home from Springfield from my dr appt. While I was in Springfield I checked out the hatchery that they have.....you know since I've never been there. Well I can say that I didn't buy any eggs today. I cannot say that I didn't buy day old chicks. I have wanted a trio of Salmon Faverolles forever. Well I got them. However they are bantams but I still have them. I figured since all my wyandottes eggs are bantams, I may as well add more to that. I almost brought home a cayuga. I did manage to show some will power but I don't know where it came from. Good thing Duck wasn't with me

On a funny note, when I was talking to the lady at the counter, I asked her what all they had today. She proceeded to tell me the specific breeds on the large fowl and the she added on "Oh we have banties too." I asked her what kind and she replied "Banties"
. I asked her what breeds of bantams and then the light went on in her head and she told me. It was funny. You think she would have known what I meant since she works in a hatchery.
