Good point, Linda. Those little fat bodies do seem to want to toddle off to one side or the other and on a ramp that steep, that could mean an injury.

I have one of these, all in white, no wheel or handle, in which I penned the 4 call ducklings during their segregation/integration period. Dunno If it would be a problem for you, but the lids are on the top of each section half (doh! Lids=top) but that means no little door to let them waddle out into the yard From the penned half, on their own. You have to lift them out.

It's a real good infirmary set up; I have a chicken in it now for that reason.

But the four of them were quite comfy in it full time for 2 weeks. If they're only in it at night time, that would work - except for the getting them in or out of it.
