They are pretty. He looks long and lean. Are the hens the same color?

They are basically the same, just a bit more muted.
He has grown a BUNCH since this picture and filled out beautifully. He's a real stunner with an attitude.

Good or bad attitude lol

He's dropped a wing on me a few times lately which makes me sad-means I'll have to jack him up a couple of times to try to straighten him out. Big jerk!

No duck, I don't.
It's basically a tractor type affair with no ramps or anything. I don't house my Calls off of the ground the way a lot of people do. Mine like the mud and I want them to be happy, so mud they shall have!

Duck is it ever gonna warm up at your house? Ya'll have such LOOONNNGGG winters up there(so do Sonja and justme).

Our winters arent usually as cold as this one was. It's usually pretty mild up until January but this year December was nasty cold. But we didn't get nearly as much snow here as people closer to the coast and NYC. During the major blizzard on December 26th that dropped 2 feet on NYC we only got 2"and we are only an hour outside of the city. We have a whole different climate here. I am in the foot hills of the Kittatinny Mountains which is a branch of the Appalachian mountain range and I think a lot of the bad weather gets blocked by the higher hills somehow. If I drive 5 minutes down into the valley the temp will drop 10 degrees on the really cold days. But we do have nasty wind up here. That's why I had no TV for a few days last week. The wind moved the dish that was just installed 2 months ago.

Out of the 9 roos I have out there now, none of then have tried anything on anyone yet. None of them are a year old yet though so I'm waiting for it. They are all bantam except for the Maran boy but he is no more aggessive than a silkie so far.
