I love the Butterscotch-such a beautiful color on the hens. I need to get me some more hens.
OOOOhhhhh forgot to tell you guys!!!!!!!!!!!! I spoke with a Call breeder yesterday(SO nice) and she's going to be sending me some BUFF Call eggs!

duck, just make sure you wear earplugs while my DH is constructing your pens-he MAY curse a time or two.

Oh yay!!! Hey when my babies get big enough to produce some eggs ill hook you up east!!! I was bidding on some beautiful whites but got out bid and saw those and just desided I liked them more lol

Thanks, ady! I'm REALLY concerned about my little Butterscotch hen. I'm afraid she's asexual or whatever they call the ducks that are neither sex. She displays behaviors of both sexes and she won't breed and she hasn't laid.

They say it's not TOO uncommon for it to happen, but she's my only Butter/Apricot Silver girl.
I probably would have gone for the Butters, too, ady.

I hate working with my dad or dh... They both get so cranky building stuff! I make sure they are feed well and have a coke before I work with either of them lol

Thanks, duck.
I wouldn't get rid of her, she can't help it. She's beautiful, whatever the deal is and I love her anyway.
I keep hoping, though.

She has the cutest little quack noise that she makes-it's very strange, but adorable.

I'm bummed I think all my ducks are females
hmm.png
they all quack loudly and I still see no drake feathers... No raspy voices anymore!

Well, if they're all quacking, sounds like a bunch of girls.
Wonder if the lady you got them from has a drake she'd give you?

I called her she has no more ducks...

I may just keep an eye out for an extra random drake... They will be my pond babies anyway.
They are having a pen built by pond for safety at night.
