Is that 26 days or do you go by 28? I've heard differing opinions? Mine will be 26 days on the 30th. The ones I hatched last year were not ready on day 26 but I was using the stupid LG bator that I hate. I should just sell the thing and get another backup bator. I just cannot get a steady room temp in this house unless I want to go broke running the heat or a/c all day long. Even if I didn't care about the cost I need it cold to sleep and warmer when I am up so I wouldn't do it, lol

Bantam ducks SHOULD hatch around day 25. You want them to have started hatching AT THE LATEST by day 26-they need to have started pipping internally or they probably won't hatch.

Yes sir duck I am trying to not buy the second auction he put up... I forgot to get up early this morning to call and pick up my egg... But my mail lady is usually here by 10 30 am anyway so not too bad

Mr. Gander is soooo funny. I just put the bigger swimming pool in their pen and he is jumping in and out running around in circles and knocking over their food and stuff

The bugger did bite me because I picked up the nasty silkie roo in there to spray him with frontline and he put up a huge fuss. That roo needs to go.

My roos are all nice so far but my oldest is 15 wks. We culled out other older ones lol why so many roos!!!!

LOL, that's how my bantam ameraucana roosters were. They are gone. Most of the silkies, the banam cochin and the bantam polish are sweeties. It's funny when I call out the window and they come running and can't find me

So far the BC Marans boy hasn't shown any agggression but he is very afraid of me and he has that look in his eye. Hopefully the pullet will lay some eggs soon so I can hatch and raise up a new roo myself and I won't need him anymore.
