Honestly, we did discuss it this morning and he said(and he's right) that because they're native to East Texas that if we just let them run around(which I wanted to do), someone would shoot them and there wouldn't be anything we could do. Not like you can put a collar on a turkey with an ID tag on it...or could you????

haha justme i just laughed out loud to that! my dh is ALWAYS touching wires to see if they are live! I am always just shaking my head waiting for the snake to bite him! I watched my dad rewire our house when i was yonger and my mom forgot to turn the breaker box of while my dad was doing something and i watched my dad get pretty much thrown across the room! Electricity is no joke! lol (he screamed like a girl too!)

I guess he has a point. We were looking for someone to come shoot the ones that moved into our yard last year but it wasn't the right season

My vet was going to give us some Royal Palms, but DH said no.
