Well another thing that hit me is I can let the BCM and EE's run together and still sell the EE eggs and Olive Eggers. Its a win win situation.

This is exactly what I am doing but I will have the Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas in there too. I have to tell you though that my BCM boy is such a handsome, good boy that I don't see me ever eating him, lol

True but after I get one or two dominate roos I wont have room for anymore and they will need to go somehwere. I am wanting a dual purpose fowl.

The other day I was talking to my friend at her job (shes the manager at a convenient store) and just about as always we were talking chickens ducks and geese. One of her employees walked by and said "You two need to stop using fowl language in this store".

He sure is a handsome boy. Maybe your new duclking will be a good mate for him? My drake wants to exterminate the ducklings in a bad way

That's why he's alone until my new babies get big enough. Darn drakes DO NOT do well with ducklings, at all.

Nope, I remember from WAAAAYYYY back when I was in 3rd grade-my VERY favorite science project was when we got to watch a caterpillar turn into a butterfly. Good times...
It is so hot, dry and windy that I am taking advantage of it to wash winter blankets, etc., hang them out and put them suckers away. Of course, what I'm saving in energy on the dryer, I'm more than making up for with the darn AC running.
