It is HOT in NC in the summer but maybe the mountains are cooler. I won't move too far away from the ocean. This ideal place also needs to be free of earth quakes, hurricanes and tornados.

The marans roo and ee girls make the cutest chicks ever!!! The look just like marans but the have huge beards and are soooo fluffy

I would have it on and chance wakeing up a little late than be hot all stickin night.

The chickens wouldn't mind the cold, I am another story. I can handle 30's but I don't like it below freezing.

Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Idaho.

But it would feel weird living that far away...

I have to go lock the birdies up. Put little duckling in hutch, let roosters and big birds inm retrieve roosters from top of run because they didn't feel like waiting for me to come out
