We were there last spring for my cousins wedding, just south of Chincoteague. My cousin married the daughter of the pastor of a church accross the street from a Perdu processing plant, lol I really liked that area. Close to the ocean but very rural

Duck, I surely wouldn't recommend Texas. As mu.ch as I LOVE it here-unless you're used to it, the heat is brutal. Summers are 11 months long.
On the other hand, the people are great-finest people I've ever come across.

I don't remember... If they do it wouldn't be to severe. And plus it stays green all year long even if they have rain showers almost ever day or 2.
