Helpful hints for building coops

I think your crew miss the tavern too much and can't wait to get there..

I think they have another job going. Most of their tools they took with them this time. Husband hired them. They never seem to finish anything. Like there is still wiring that needs done in other buildings and our gutters and snow rails need to be installed. But husband and i don't have very healthy backs so help is good. I challenged the guy, told him i would finish my build first and i probably will!
 
54 outside, i have about 12 items left to do on my hoop coop. Sure wish i could find my wire cutters. I have 2 pairs missing. Thought i knew where they were, but so far no luck. More later.

Ha!! That's why I have like 6 cutters.... lose 'em, buy more, then find 'em!
Bout the same temp here, had the first hard frost last night.
 
Well Aart, i found one pair but the other pair is still missing.
I got skirts put on the ends of the coop today, filled in the gaps in one pallet wall, attached to the front wall and painted it. Working on the other one but the battery died so i came in for lunch. Also finished lashing on the welded wire to the cattle panel where i was working on that yesterday. Pried another long board off a pallet to use putting the roof together. Will paint it after lunch. Hoping to hang some tarps today as well.
Now that my phone is charged i can take more pictures!
 
The hoop coop sure looks different with tarps on it!

good morning,
today it is cold here. high's in the 40's
I am going to make a sample inside window sill and jamb extender out of pine.
just to make sure I have thought everything out correctly.
I decided to fine tune my table saw, too.
It has been a looooong time since I adjusted anything on it except the blade angle.

I have to go to F&F to pick up a good combination square.
the one I have is a cheap one that can't be trusted to be square.

I made potato pancakes yesterday for breakfast. today I had some leftover ones. yummmm..
