Here is the lean-to, i attached the welded wire fence to the bottom section today. 20180611_165142.jpg

Hi,
Cappy, are you anywhere near White Sulpher Springs, where the barn wood builders are from? I watch that show a lot.

I got one side of the AC frame painted today. tomorrow I will flip it over and do the other side. and then up she goes..

I had an Xray today. No sign of the kidney stone.
Dr recommendation: drink 2 liters of water each day.
but my heart Dr says to not drink that much.
I will go with my heart Dr.
I would rather have another kidney stone than congestive heart failure.. LOL

now I am going upstairs and flush out my kidneys with a brewski..

Oh, and i painted the other side of the plywood for the back of the bunny condo. And i put wire on 2 out of 3 doors i made for it. The pneumatic nailer bit the dust, hubby thinks its a gasket. I used it so much the other day putting chicken wire around the raised beds. I guess it couldn't handle the strain.
Also painted the porch swing once i sanded it down.
Going shopping in NC tomorrow, but i will probably be back online tomorrow night.

up early today.
going to paint the other side of the AC panel and hope it will dry by this afternoon so I can get it mounted over the window.
we have a couple of hot humid days in store for us this weekend. AC would be nice to have.. although we do have AC in the main part of the house, but we would have to leave our bedroom door open to take advantage of it.. better than nothing, though.

our female dog has figured out that it is cooler in the house. she likes to lie on the tiled floor..
One of the pups we had used to go lie in the shower stall..

I am thinking of gathering all the chicken equipment I have and having a yard sale.

thinking of turning the 12 x 16 chicken coop into a work shop. maybe set up a wood lathe and a wall mounted vice and one of the jointers. I have two of each of those.

Gotta a 4 day scorcher forecast here too, not looking forward to it.

Haven't built anything in days/weeks, tho did disassemble two pressure cooker handles when the lid lock jammed when pot was full of hen stock, that was interesting. Learned a lot, still haven't decided just how to conclude.

Have 9 cockerels out there, 3 @ 12weeks and 6 @ 7weeks, the older ones are really starting to cause trouble, I can't wait to get rid of them. Gonna try to sell, but most likely freezer camp. Sure wish I had finished the 2nd hoop coop for a bachelor pen, couldn't ever decide where to put it and how to get it there. Sure would relieve the crowding if increase the chores. But all the birds are pretty well integrated, the littles are mingling better and the older birds are getting used to them.....tho I think stress has reduced egg laying.

yep, maybe too many roosters causing the hens to hold back..

I got the AC panel all painted this morning.
looks like it will be dry by noon, if not sooner.

have some detailed measuring to do to determine where to locate the AC sleeve in the panel..
I didn't realize this before, but both AC have sleeves. which means I could mount them through a wall. but I will not do that with them because they are not very new anymore. If I ever go through the wall mount, I will buy new AC..

Art, have you ever met Dr Pol ?
I like to watch his show, too..

By 'sleeve' do you mean the outer housing and mount that the AC unit slides into?
I have one like that too, mounted it onto a board that fit into an awning window frame. Removed the window in my bedroom and mounted the AC in there for the summer.
It was kind of a bear to do but worked great, still have it but haven't installed in a few years, too much trouble for just a half dozen sultry nights....and it was noisy.
Here's the mount, standing on end, gathering dust and junk in the coop shed.

I have never met Dr. Pol, nor have I seen his show, no cable here and no free viewing online.

yep, the sleeve is the metal part that the AC slips into..
your frame is similar to mine.
I have double hung windows, so I can leave them in place. and by holding the AC out far enough, I can close the windows so I don't have to remove the AC when it is not needed..
many window units do not have a sleeve..
many people try to tell you that those cannot be wall mounted, but that is not true.
all you have to do is build a wooden frame to take the place of the metal sleeve. .

I moved the frame out to the back of the pick up truck. It was just not drying inside the garage..
how come it takes paint so long to dry ?
except the stuff you get on your hands ??

If push comes to shove, I will mount the panel even if it is still tacky..
