Helpful hints for building coops

Up to the knees is pretty darn deep!
Was is light and fluffy or wet and heavy?

It was light and fluffy at first but changed to heavy quickly. I am 5'6" tall.

I had a quail take off the other day, and i wasn't chasing it through deep snow. Today it showed up by one of the quail coops! It was easy to catch in the dark.

I have heard that a quail will come to a cage of quails if it is alone.
must be true,.
this morning I got the tractor all fixed ..
the power steering works. there was not as much oil on the belt as I had thought.
I just thawed the transmission case with a propane torch until the gears loosened up.
worked the steering wheel back and forth until the wheels finally began to turn..
took it for a short ride and all is well.
I added a bottle of Seafoam engine conditioner to the transmission .. I hope it keeps water from turning into ice in there..

Up to my knee is 18" . Now we have had rain all day since my PT appt at 10 am. So there will be flooding again.

I just finished watching our Packers clinch last place..
on a better note, I test started the tractor and the scooter while it was below freezing yet this morning.
both started and ran great..
Cappy, hope your flooding isn't too bad.

I found a tree in a pot that i can plant after Christmas! I love it!
