My quilt is growing! It is a wedding quilt for my niece.

the weather man hit it right on the head.
we started out with a couple hours of freezing rain, then around midnight it turned to snow.
we were right on the line between 6" to 12" and 4" to 6".. looks like we got the 12".
I had the tractor dug out yesterday, today it is completely buried.
the wind is blowing the roads closed. I 39 is one lane each way. unfortunately no snow is blowing off of my roofs.
well, maybe when the wind speed gets up to the 50 to 55 mph range ..
DD told me that there was a big pile up on Hwy 41 near Green Bay..lotsa cars involved.

We might have snow tomorrow but I really home not.

We spent all day at the manufactured home place and made what seems like a million decisions. So we'll close on the home in a week or so and we close on the land on Thursday.

39 weeks to retirement...

No snow, but Bob had to come and plow the driveway open.. drifting snow..
more snow Tue/Wed and then again Fri/Sat.
I decided I have to get Ollie moved from in front of the garage. It looks like the snow is starting to slide off of the garage roof. If it lets go, Ollie will be buried until about July.
(Ollie is my Oliver tractor)
Today is Annie's birthday. the weather man noted that on this day in 1945 there was a record setting snow storm. the day Annie was born.. Her mother said that she shoveled snow so that they could get the car out to go to the hospital..
