Helpful hints for building coops

I thought you hired some guys to build you a goat shed awhile back ?
Are you going to build this one by yourself ?
I wish I could be there to help you. I love framing.
Nephew Dan came yesterday. I hoisted the lawn mower with the loader, like hanging a deer.
He got all the trash out of the blades. metal banding from years ago that came with a load of oak slabwood firewood. I thought I had that all picked up. I mowed over that spot for years and never picked it up. Plus a piece of rope. plus the kicker: a piece of window screen ??
anyhow, he took the mower for a test run. must have been enjoying it because he went for a couple of hours.

Jim, what were you mowing with that? I don't think they are recommended for demolishing houses. :D
 
well, ya never know until you try..
I think the screen came from a fort the kids built a long time ago. I am very careful about trash.
I always remove nails from boards. To fix a flat rear tractor tire is about $200.oo. In 3 year's time, I replaced both rear rims and tubes to a total tune of over $600.oo.
big boy toys are not cheap..
Dan came back today and is finishing mowing among the black walnut trees. It is a jungle out there..
I was outside until it hit 83F. I woosed out.
I got everything prepared for pouring the last three concrete pads. .

Naw she built a tall Hoop coop for the guineas I think, but it was about the same time as the lame contractor that took forever to build a goat shed.... I think she repurposed it though

The guys built a barn, and I can keep goats in there. But I want a shelter in the pasture as well. I wouldn't mind help. Possibly hubby may help.
