Yup aart, it cooled off some. the humidity is way low. still don't want to do anything too physical. riding on the tractor, or lawn mower is not so bad.
I have not started up my rototiller this summer. I pulled it out today. tomorrow i will drain the carburetor and give it a go..
I think there is unleaded gas in it from last year. I might have to change that for fresh..
I would like to till up what I plowed today.

Good idea to change the fuel...gunmed up carbonator is a pain

when I was a kid, the man across the street from us made a small windmill. When the wind blew, the blades turned and put a little man into motion sawing wood. I wish I would have looked at it more closely. I would like to build something like that.

My aunt's uncle built a miniature working model of a sawmill. it was mounted on a two foot by three foot piece of plywood.
I wonder what happened to it after she died ??

I just looked on Youtube. they are called whiirlygigs..
I have seen those, very cool.

Cappy, make the hay rack with openings very small. if the goats pull extra out and it falls to the floor, they will not eat it.. make them work at getting at it. they have all day with nothing better to do.
the pallets sound like a good idea.
must be the time of year for ear tubes. You are the second person in a week that had that done,,,that I know..

i don't expect any trouble with the carburetor . I don't use my on/off switch to shut the tiller off. I just turn off the fuel flow and let the motor idle until it empties the carburetor..
The non ethynol gas will last through the winter.usually..

Hi all, today I broke down and bought a bag of leaf compost. I just can't seem to gather enough stuff to get a decent sized pile going.
I will use some of it when I move the rhubarb and when I plant three more grapes that I have started in pots..
early this morning I moved seven Roma tomatoes that I have neglected ever since I potted them ,, weeks ago.. the pots were quite dry, but the tomatoes are all robust. they even have green tomatoes on them.
Anyway, I pruned them, staked them and watered them very well..
