Why were the bulbs/cloves showing above ground, did you not plant them deep enough...or...?
I assume you planted them last fall?

yes, I planted them in the fall. I think the reason some of them are showing is because we had so much rain, and the soil was loose, it just settled. I will spread some loose soil over it and then use some of the straw to mulch it good.

still a bit of chill in the air. supposed to get up into the 50's today and warmer tomorrow. I am going to go and take a good look at what needs to be done with the garlic and rhubarb. Maybe see if the asparagus is poking up yet.

My doctor found it unecessary because my symptoms don't match it and I've been vaccinated. That could be revised if I take a turn for the worse.

The main issue has been, if I can be graphic under a spoiler,

my lungs were full of mucous and fluid and while the steroids have opened them up and the antibiotics have prevented pneumonia thus far, there is no getting rid of the phlegm except to cough it out.

Unfortunately, as a long-term asthmatic I've developed a sort of tolerance for compromised breathing and probably didn't seek medical attention as soon as I ought to have -- but I *was* traveling and suddenly got worse while out of town.

Talking does wear me out, standing and talking is worse. And I don't have asma , just results from covid in 202p
