Yes, acorns have tannin in them. If you want to make flour from acorns , you need to boil them to leach out the tannis, which are pretty bad tasting to people otherwise.I didn't know acorns were a dewormer.

we have had a couple nights of frost. our growing
season is over. so far none of the farmers have started
cutting their corn fields or picking corn.
there are turkeys all over, even in town.
Annie hit a deer about a week ago. little damage to
the car. just pushed the grill in. her mechanic pulled
it back out and you can hardly tell it was damaged.
