I write down a list and cross them off. It helps me to keep going if there is at least one thing crossed off.
I make lists all the time at work, but even though I know I *should* use them at home I have a mental block.
The problem is that when I was young my mother, who worked, would leave us lists of chores and, if we got them all done she'd make the next day's list longer.
So, I EXPECT to work every second at work and use lists to organize my time there, I can't bring myself to use them at home.
