Cappy, are you going to get the same carpenters
that you hired for the goat shed ?
last night we went out for fish fry. we went to
a very rural tavern that we haven't been to for
about thirty years. they are only open on Friday
from 2 to midnight. we had bluegill. awesome good.
bluegill is my favorite fish to eat. Perch is a close second.
I figure fish fries are the most economical meal in a
restaurant. If you figure buying a license, driving somewhere
and spending time , and not always being successful,

I can work one hour and pay for the meal.
but that doesn't mean I won't go fishing. lol
I got the gasket on the stove door. today I
will install the door and light a fire. This is a

different stove that nephew Dan gave to me.
I hope it heats well.
yesterday it stayed at 33F all day and
rained/snowed most of the time.
Actually, i heard that contractor is buried in a shallow grave somewhere, lol. So not getting him to work on anything.
This guy has a business building and delivering sheds. Amish work. We saw the examples they had set up and chose a style to order. Got a quote. Yay, progress!

I don't think I mentioned -- Ian gave us just enough wind to wear some holes in the tarp on Camp Cockerel. We don't know if we're going to take it down for the winter, find a heavier tarp (might have one in the back of a storage building), or buy a new tarp of the same kind and pad the frame on the parts that rubbed through.

there was a lot of snow to the north of us last night.
we didn't get any. yay!!!
3B's you can keep your wind. I would still rather
have the dreaded snow.
Cappy, I assume they will build your shed on site ?
kind of big to haul, I would think.
Nope, they hauled in the two we have already. Actually, i think the new shed is just a bit smaller than the ones we have.

I just brewed up another cuppa. I am stalling going
outside. it is just 34F . did I mention
.
that I am sick
of winter already ?
Cappy, I would love to see an aerial shot of your village.
when are you going to incorporate ?:lau
Lol, try Google earth.
Actually, all but 3 of my chicken shelters in the barnyard are empty. I am thinking of selling a lot of them.
It may be as little as a month and my shed should be here! They call the style a cottage. Excited to get the process started very soon.

I would repurpose chicken shelters in case things change.

warming up to the 50F's today and warmer for the next few days.
I have so much to do I don't know what to do first.
I usually pick the thing I like least, if they all have the same priority. The thing I like most to do I save for last...... Unless I can't get started, then whatever I will do
