well Cappy, I hope this note finds you out of the bathtub.
nice to have water again, eh?
I took our bathtub out and put in a nice big
walk in shower. Per my mom's wish when she moved
in with us.
we have only about 3" of snow. not going to plow for
awhile. like to pack the first stuff down for a good frozen
base, first.

Yes, we had the idiot contractor put insulation under my tub.

Another good place to insulate is under the
kitchen sink if it is a metal one. Use the Great Stuff

We are just a little bit too far south for the
Lake Superior blast.

Oh, yeah. Getting blasted the last 2 days and more to come today and tomorrow.
Already ~8" piled up, deeper in places with the wind last night.
...and the ground is still warm, so it is heavy as hell to shovel.
Hoping it gets cold enough by Sunday to be able to throw it off the driveway without too many chute clogs before warmer temps come Monday.

Yeah, it's going to be a big mess. SOOOO glad I don't have to drive anywhere!

We got home before too much had fallen, went shopping the next morning, and we can stay here until everything gets plowed out.

If I'd thought about it, I would have gotten celery. Then we'd have everything for Thanksgiving, and I wouldn't have to go to the store until we ran out of milk.
