do do doo do.. beware driving in the fog on
back roads..
we had six inches of wet heavy snow. Not a
pleasure to shovel by hand. something which I
do not do.. I used Ollie. he handled it very well.
I plowed for about two hours. two to four more
inches forecast for today.
the snow pulled two pine trees down in my
wind break. I pushed them aside with Ollie
for the time being. I am not up for using a chain
saw right now.
we saw a cut over corn field with no less than
a hundred turkeys on it.

Putting down flooring

I did go outside today even though it was colder than yesterday
It was my last chance to get the back blade onto Ollie before
the temps dropped to single digits. I plowed the new couple of
inches of snow we got last night. I did a thorough job. widened
the driveway and even did the mailbox. and with Annie's help
we got the back blade mounted on Ollie. Now I have to go get
a can of gas before it snows again.
Cappy, I imaging your floor is all done by now.
It looks nice from here.

Yes, i cut and installed the floor boards last night. It does look good!
Today we moved over shelf units, glaze, clay and other stuff. Hopefully we can get the rest done tomorrow.

Cappy, happy to see your project moving along so well.
all I am going to do this week is plan food for Christmas
dinner. I think there will be about eight of us here.
going to have ham and prime rib. I might bake some
potato rolls. I had Annie buy pork sausage for the
dressing.
Sounds yummy!
