Congradulations, Cappy and Hubby.
I met Annie when I was 16. We did our fighting
and breaking up before we got married when I
was 21.. Next September we will be married for
60 years..
What are you feeding those goats ? keep it up..
They get goat pellets and hay, and whatever they find in the pastures.
Sure did have a lot of kids this time. Misty had 4, Windy had 3, (but one died) and Peanut had 4!

More adorable kids!

Today we got the deck screwed onto the studio. Just small, but it looks good. Will have to get a picture tomorrow. Weeded the strawberry beds today, and watered them. We are getting some strawberries, but not as many as we should because it has been dry.

I gave up on strawberries. I could never keep up
with the weeding.
there was a strawberry farm just a quarter mile away.
let them do the hard work..
I finally got the blades sharpened on the lawn mower.
been wanting to do that for a long time. they were still
in pretty good shape.
enjoying working outside in the heat. take plenty
of water breaks.. listen to the nonstop singing of the
two pairs of wrens in the pine trees.
Annie baked me a rhubarb pie.
Had venison steaks for supper.
that's my life in a nutshell..

Perfect size for two chairs.. Annie and I sit on lawn chairs on the
apron of the garage more than we do on our deck. Usually because
I am working in that area and she comes to check on me..
I tore the mower deck of the Husqvarna zero turn, all apart.
I got three of the six bearings out. One of those is seized up tight.
today I will pull the last three bearings out..
I managed to get all the pulleys off without damaging any..
for me, that is almost like a miracle ..
I sharpened all three blades..
