I am not so keen on reciprocating saws but i used one today trying to take pallets apart. The battery ran out pretty quick, but i did get enough boards to fix my pallets the way they need to be.
I started lashing more welded wire over the cattle panels, but i had to leave for the sleep dr appt. Google got me lost. I hate driving in circles.

You mean like a sawzall?
They are a little hard to handle, pretty aggressive, but pretty awesome too once you get use to them.
I have a corded one....battery stuff can be kinda wimpy or have short lived sessions, makes ya take a break tho!

No electric at the build site. So it is that or cart everything back to the workshop. Just got back, glad i went. They reprogrammed my machine so hopefully i will sleep better now. Going back down to do a bit of work before the sun sets!

The latest picture! I lashed on more welded wire over the cattle panels. One more to do on the other side.

I got 2 PVC feeders done and in the coop today :)

took all of about 1/2 hr. I even cut the 10 foot 3" pipe at HD to save time (you have to cut it yourself) and not clean up at home. 2 'V' fittings, one for each pipe, stuck them in the 5 foot pipes.
I chinsed out and put Saran Selfseal wrap on the bottom and top to save time... Ok ok so I forgot to buy caps that I know this HD doesn't carry so it was a quick fix. Put it on a cinder block inside the coop, tied it to the wall and VuoaLa, done.

We are getting 2-3 days of rain and high winds so I really don't want to go out there.

I already cleaned out the leaves from the Koi Pond today. Put netting over to catch the leaves. Also a sun shade to stop most of them from even getting that far down.

Batten down the hatches it's gonna get Windy here !

I don't know how tall you are, but that tiny low stool would never work for me. I can hardly stand up from a plastic lawn chair.:lau

we had our wind today. it sucks the heat right off of your body.
they canceled the warnings around dusk.:wee

That little stool gets a work out from me. I am 5'6" tall, but very flexible. I can sit on the ground and get up. I use the stool to avoid repetitive bending, like when pulling weeds, hammering down low, painting or whatever. I used to be in the athletics association in school and did a lot of after school sports. Once i became a couch potato i piled on pounds but am still flexible.

You are one up on me,
I can bend, but straightening back up takes some doing.
if I sit on the ground, I roll around like a walrus to get back up.

I spent some time on utube getting ideas for window trim..
I kind of decided to use the red oak instead of the pine.
Annie already bought a bundle of casing, but I don't want to use it.
as long as I have a whole winter to work on it, I think I will make my own casing. then each room can have it's own color..

She can't understand how I can fiddle around making stuff, on the other hand, I can't understand how she can sit and knit..

:lau You guys need one of those alert watches, "help, i have fallen and i can't get up"
Husband fell out of a tree a few days back with a running chain saw, onto an already fallen tree. He finally caved in and went to the doctor this morning. The suspense is killing me. Wonder if he will need surgery.
