Helpful hints for building coops

good morning .
the snow quit and the sun is shining.
we ended up with about 5" of the slippery
white stuff..

I am thinking I want to make the angle braces
to angle in the opposite direction.
I dry fitted the pieces this morning and I think it feels awkward ..
I won't even have to start a fire . those braces are quick and easy to make.
I can use the one I got glued up for the chisel jig I will make..

Yeah Art, I like making jigs.
every once or twice I find one out in the shop and then I try to remember what it was for..

tomorrow someone might come and buy two of the pups. waiting for a reply about what time..

reminds me of the lady who made ladies hats.
she made one for a lady and said , that will be
$40.oo. the lady replied, forty dollars !!
that's outrageous !! the hat lade handed the woman a piece of material and some ribbons and said, the do it yourself kit is only $4.oo..

two of my sisters are awesome artists.
but they never did anything commercial.
just did it for their own pleasure..

today is moving day. the pups are going to go out into the vacant chicken coop..
It will be no warmer that single digits above zero for the next week, but I can put an electric heater to take off the chill.
like fish and relatives, puppies stink after 3 days..

Ok, prices go up. You talked me into it.
I built another bunny water warmer and started a nest box. Dragged the parts of the rabbit condo outside and cut more pieces. Painted plywood and the other pieces i cut. Expecting rain Weds and on the weekend. Bah. It is muddy enough already. Need to get hubby going on a load of gravel for those slick spots.
 
it got up to +9 F today,.
I took advantage of the warm up to run a cord to
the chicken coop from the garage. put an electric heater in. if it seems OK warm tomorrow, the pups are moving in there.

I started the tractor up. just to let it run for awhile. I might be needing it by this weekend

Yeah, flu is mostly gone but still out of shape. The hills kill me.
