I put legs on the bunny condo today. And tacked hardware cloth on top so when i take the top off later the bunnies will still be safe. The latches are on. So once i screw the metal roofing and put feeders and waterers on the bunnies can move in.
Also attached the nest box to a bunny cage for the first doe due to kindle. She seemed to make herself right at home.

we are not quite as warm as you southerners.
but we do have two days of above freezing and then back down into the mid teens, but still better than below zero..
I actually saw some bare concrete today..

I finished up the drill sharpening jig.
to Annie's delight, and surprise, I took the disc sander back out.. I put it into the new shed.
It is something I will not be using until summer..
I did sharpen a 3/8" and a 3/4" drill bits.
I have to come up with some sort of clamp to keep the jig from moving in the slot.
kind of hard to sharpen a bit with one hand and hold the jig in place with the other..

every time I take water to the geese, she tips the bucket over by trying to get in to it.
. I think she is trying to tell us that she is ready for egg laying..

ETA: we hit 40F again, today..

Today i finally found the hardware for my wagon and put it on. And hung the clock up in the workshop.

Going out soon to finish up another bunny nest box. I started working on the new watering system but I need silicone sealant before i can finish that up.

Bunny nest box is done. And i installed a vent in the goat barn because there were none. Need to get more.
Thinking i need to make a quail cage in case i find some for sale. And maybe another bunny cage. I need to order lumber for the lean to i am building for the bunnies.

Cappy, when you get your lean to done, I could use someone to help me make a shed roof over my garage doors. the snow slides off and builds up in the doorways. and the water drips and freezes and makes a treacherous mound right in front of the doors..the roof would guide the water and snow about 3 or 4 feet away from the building, then I can get at it with the tractor bucket..

it looks like we will be down to just two puppies by the 3rd of March..

Well i am tied here by the critters but it sounds like fun to me.

Sweet!!
Can you still open the barn windows behind it?

Got a broody.....head is spinning with overall hatching plans.
Yep, barn widows can still open. Cage is not that heavy, i moved it by myself.
Quite excited, my pregnant bunny is very fat. Good luck with hatching, Aart!
