ouch !! that has to hurt..
the weatherman missed the forecast a bit.
hardly got a dusting. but he redeemed
himself by promissing 8" by tonight.
I hope he is wrong again..
all schools are closed.. the roads are very slippery and bound to get worse.

I am trying to come up with a way to make the roller bearings fit into the table top sander.
many options have popped into my head. JB WELD , original gorilla glue,
shipping tape.. wire wrapping , just plain shims..

I just dug the holes for my floor to go into, just have to build the rafters for the roof and wait for it to stop raining and I can start framing. I took the down east thunder farm coop design and modified it from 4x8 to 8x8 because I have 14 chicks.
Nice!
Welcome to BYC from a fellow Michiganain!

good morning,

sitting on 10" of new snow this morning.
I have to plow so Annie can go to work.
Not looking forward to sitting on the tractor for an hour with the wind coming from the N.W...
I got the roller bearings installed into the casting of the table top sander. bought a piece of C R 1/2" shaft. all is fitting nicely.

Art, looks iike you were in line for this storm, too. did you get snow or rain ?

Today we had WIND, sun, and about 60°. It scares me when the wind blows so hard because trees snap off and or fall over. But i survived.
Build a rack for the free wood pieces i get, and hubby moved them from in front of the workshop to the rack between the garage and workshop. Looks much better and they should stay drier too.
Baby guineas hatching today, 11 at last count, only 6 eggs left and its not even hatch day yet!

guineas are like that. independent buggars from the egg to the end..
I love them. If I had to choose just one breed of bird, it would be the guinea above all the rest..
I used to collect and hatch guinea eggs and sold the keets. for several years I averaged more than 300 per season.

waiting for some warmer weather so I can set up a lathe and make a couple of idler rollers for the table top sander.
I have to bore a hole exactly on center the long way through the 4" wood cylinder.
I THINK I have come up with a way to make a pilot hole. I will try it, before I tell how to do it. just in case it doesn't work.
