heavy sigh of relief, worry that the opening is correct, wondering if I can lift that heavy thing up to the opening, then wondering if it will actually turn on and cool..
Well, the AC is in and running..
almost 80F here today. it took about 10 minutes to cool the room down..
I should sleep well tonight.
I am not going outside again until around September..

those red squirrels eat anything. they ate a hole in the plastic cap on the gas tank of my rototiller. what for ?? who knows ..

I have wanted to try Indian food. It sounds delicious to me. there is no place around us that offers any.
I do like slightly hot spicy food. Not blazing hot, though. I like some flavor in my hot sauce, like the Tobasco brand.
I don't feel that eating hot food should be like a contest , just to see how much you can stand..
I ran the AC for just about 15 just before bedtime. then I turned it off. It was just fine all night.. I got woke up around 5 AM
lots of thunderstorms rolling through Wisc.
Some hail, but we didn't get any of that.
My rider lawn mower is threatening to poop out .. I am thinking I should get a walk behind mower. maybe self propelled.
maybe I can improve my wind and lose some more weight. I lost 8 pounds in the past couple of weeks when I was fighting with that kidney stone. i went for one stretch of 36 hours with not a thing to eat.
If I had a kidney stone once per month, in a years time I should be down to my ideal weight..LOL

I think my next project is to really clean out my shop area. I will have to bite the bullet and throw some of my "valuable" items away..

My compressor quit working. It has sounded sick for a while. I just replaced the stapler and i still can't use it! This is crazy.
Going to the swap tomorrow. Have a great night!

:wee
Yay, finally got that last post in the ground. Hubby hasn't been feeling that great the last few days so I'm glad he could help me today.
We also moved some of my other building materials around, corrugated iron and timber. Getting it closer to the building site so its easier to access.

I also pulled back some of the kaikuyu grass that's been taking over my back porch. It grows rampant all year round.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow of the progress so far.

Here is the area for the chickens new coop before I started. That hill of grass is the old chicken coop I dismantled.

Here is the same area, cleared.

I'll get pictures of the posts in tomorrow.

Hope the swap goes well, Cappy.
I try to guess what you are going to bring home next..
It always feels so good when the preliminaries are out of the way and then you can actually start putting something together..
I found out yesterday that I cannot eat a Big Mac for lunch, and then go to the Red Eye brewery and eat one of their hamburgers , too. I suffered until 5 AM trying to get to sleep. too much meat..

I have to add another board to the tops of both AC panels. there is a 2" gap to fill between the panel and the window sash.
not a big gap, but the mosquitoes found it right off..
I have some fancy notching to do to fit it to the window frame profile.. Prolly will make a cardboard pattern.
we had about 3 inches of rain yesterday.
farther north they had much more and more for them to come today and tomorrow.

I was thinking that Indian food put a knot in my guts, but i finally feel a little better. My digestion is very slow, so i likely have not seen the last of that toxic stuff. The pepto did help.

Oh, and i sold 4 rabbits at the swap! And 2 quail, and some Polish hatching eggs.
I was sorely tempted by some young rabbits, but i resisted. I did buy 3 dozen quail eggs to get a different line of the Jumbo Browns. And 4 plants for $10.
