Helpful hints for building coops

I worked on the coop more today. Got the frame made for the roof, installed the nest box, and made the frame for the door. Tomorrow I have to go buy feed, so I won't be finishing up the coop, but hopefully soon!

today I went out and pulled a few oak boards off of the pile.
Annie is after me to install an AC in the 3rd bedroom.
I worked as long as I could bear it, finally gave in to the heat and humidity.
will go at it again after I re hydrate and cool off.
I should put that last AC into my shop. LOL

Was thinking this morning....
... My 'AC' is closing the east drapes against the sun in the mornings.
Time to haul the ladder up and unblock the attic fan.

The door is on! Top part is hardware cloth for ventilation.

Nest box is on, located low for broodies.

Screwed the roof on!

Flooring in place, and later I put in baseboards.

Tug o war with the dogs.
